Christine and I grew up a few houses down the street from each other; we spent afternoons making craft projects and playing Pretty Pretty Princess [remember that board game? Here's a refresher.], and trying to beat Skip-it high scores. The first time I heard the album ...Baby One More Time was while we sat on her bedroom floor, and it played on her boom box. We always went to separate schools, but during weekends and after school, it was on.
I've had the opportunity to photograph some really special weddings, and this was definitely one of them. The day was freezing, but it was full of smiles, love, and happy tears. I got chills several times, and it wasn't just from the forty-degree wind hitting my face. [I am 100% aware that is a Southern Californian complaint - my family in Michigan is probably having a good chuckle.] I was really lucky to have my second-shooter partner-in-crime Grace with me all day, and honestly, I might have gone overboard with the photo uploading on this post, but there are just too many favorites.
Love deeply, be kind, call an old friend.

After tying the knot in July with their romantic wedding at Firestone Vineyard, we decided to return to where the magic happened for Ellery and Rarig's holiday portraits! Now with the addition of their puppy, Max, this family of three looks like they belong in the pages of an L.L. Bean catalog. Commence cuteness.
